Awesome Storm

It's been a long time since we've had a storm this big come through. I quite like it. Power is out all over the place, our house is dark and quiet. Trees down, roads flooded, big waves.

I'm starting to feel better, so Isaac and I went out to try to find some power and an internet connection. All of down town Santa Cruz was closed. No power. We went to Seabright to Cafe Junction and they just shut down. We finally made our way to Soquel to the Ugly Mug. A fine, hippy, coffee establishment. It's packed. It seems it's the only place that's open and all the mountain folk have come down to try to get some work done. Maybe our co-working space should have a generator at some point. 100% up time. Especially if the weather continues to get weird.

I was hoping to get in to Yahoo! today, but that wasn't in the cards. I'm looking forward to Monday to get back to some normalcy. Hopefully the storms will have passed.
