Here's the news. I think that it's finally okay to let people know... either way I'm doing it.
After a very rewarding year at Wink, I'm returning Yahoo! to work on the Brickhouse team. I'll be Senior Manager of Products. But that's just a title. Brickhouse is about innovation and in that environment anything goes. I'm not sure how much more I can say about the gig, but just know that I'm a comin' back to Yahoo! I'm very excited and happy about this opportunity.
Wink is on the right path. I have nothing but admiration and feelings of gratitude for the Wink team. They are the smartest people I've ever worked with and will continue to build out the premier people search engine. There are lots of things in the works that I'm very proud of, I know they will beyond succeed. What you know about Wink right now, is nothing compared to what is coming out. I feel honored to have been a part of such a great organization.
So why leave? Well there are things about the Brickhouse job that I can't discuss yet, but it was an opportunity that I could not pass up. It was a tough decision to be sure.
There you have it :) I'm Yahoo! bound, starting Monday. I get to go through "orientation" again and everything. It should be an interesting ride.
